Clare James

Clare has over 20 years primary school experience with the last 10 years being in senior leadership roles. She prides herself on a child focused approach to all aspects of teaching and learning. Clare joined the Takeley Primary School staff in September 2023 as Headteacher. Clare has experience in working across all year groups of the primary phases and has been Special Educational Needs Coordinator (SENCO), Inital Teacher Training (ITT) mentor and subject leader for English, Maths and PE. She has redesigned curriculums and has experience of both single year group and mixed aged classes.
